Online Learning versus Traditional Learning Online Learning versus Traditional Learning Eronica Holmes Everest University Online learning versus Traditional learning Online colleges and traditional ones have the same goals in mind, is to provide students with and education and a degree of their chose. Although their purposes are the same, they have significant differences. A key distinction between online and traditional colleges is the internet-based curriculum. And online class is defined as a formal education process in which the students and instructor are not in the same place. This means that all exams, lectures and much of the reading in online classes are done on the web. This is the biggest change from when transitioning from traditional classroom learning. Many students have overcome the challenge of online instruction and have adapted well to the system. Advantage of traditional classroom learning is that it provides students with a fixed schedule and specific periods dedicated exclusively to learning. Most adults lead a busy life these days, whether they have a demanding job or children in school. It’s difficult to find time for personal study between working hours and kids school activities, and there is always something more important to do. Students in this situation prefer to be forced to schedule classes first and then plan other activities around them, the enjoyment of online classes versus traditional classes. Today there are more options than ever for a college education, and online course open up new educational possibilities to many people who hadn’t considered college before. Most community colleges, universities and four-year institutions offer online classes and degree and certification programs.
