And while I had my toys and my friends around I still had to be responsible about doing my homework and wake up every morning and wear my clothes to go to school.

It was the week before my 15th birthday. I was walking to the schoolhouse in Clovis, New Mexico with my four siblings, feeling heavy with mixed emotions. I was not a child anymore; or rather, I wouldn’t be in a week. This left me feeling above the childish emotions of anticipation and excitement. In one supermarket, they placed a few beers on a top shelf in a cereal aisle and it sat unnoticed as shoppers picked up cereals around it. When asked after they checked out, every shopper stated that they were unaware of the beers that were there. It is vey important that items are placed correctly in a supermarket because the markets for beer drinkers are not going to be looking in the cereal aisle for beer. The film also illustrates a young teenager and a young woman that are very frequent shoppers. This young teenager is only thirteen years old and has the need to go shopping almost every weekend, and the young lady is grown but has an addiction to a specific designer named Chloe.

There was always something going on in the house but never too much so the noise was a jumble of sounds. My grandmother lived in that house the majority of her life so a big part of the house was her. She wasn’t the nicest person in the world, but she really did care for my sister and I. My dad grew up in that house and proceeded to live there while raising us. My grandmother passed away when I was 8 years old and the only home I had ever known at that point in my life was that one.
