Screams of terror wake me up, filling my head with a high pitched ring giving me a massive migraine. I open the stall door, “Someone calls a teacher!” I heard a girl shriek. “Huh?” I responded rubbing my temples. One of the girls fainted, and another threw up. “What happened?” I tried to figure out what in the world was going on. More screams filled the air as I left the bathroom; a girl ran right in to my right shoulder giving me a killer pounding in my head, “Hey, watch it!” I yelled at her.
The look she gave me, I will never forget. Her eyes almost popped out of her head, she opened her mouth, but no sound came out. “Are you okay?” I tried to ask her. I reached my hand out to touch her shoulder, she didn’t answer me. “Hmm?” I asked her as my hand touched her shoulder. The second after my hand touched her shoulder, she screamed. I retracted my hand in instinct, and her eyes rolled up in the back of her head and she hit the floor.
I just stood there, unsure of what to do next. I tried to let out a few words, but it was like my tongue had been cut. The words were being held hostage in the back of my throat. I looked down at the girl who had just lost consciousness; she was a senior, the class president. “Bre?” I kneeled down next to her, “Bre!” I screamed out, “Oh my gosh…”
Some people looked around when they heard me scream out for Bre, they heard me but they did not see me. “Did you hear that?” one of them said. “Yeah.” Another agreed. “Let’s get out of here!” the other person said.” And they left. “What’s going on?” I asked myself as I got up.
I saw some girls from the bathroom running for a classroom, “Wait!” I ran after them, “What’s going on? Why are you running?” one of them turned around. “Just run!” I heard a girl in front of her yell. “Wait! Stop!” I yelled at them, “Stop!” they didn’t listen. I stopped running to catch my breath; I put my palm to my face, “Why didn’t you just stop?”
I felt something dripping down my forearms. I looked down...
