“Most of us go through life handicapped by old myths rather than inspired by current realities. Do you agree with this observation of human behavior?” I agree with this human behavior. This idea has been inherited from our ancestors from time to time. It’s the reason why we study history and even pre-history. Wise words from the elders briefly show us where the path we should go through during lifetime is. There are many consequences why we learn from the past. We, human, always make mistakes. We make mistakes just as same as we had just made; but we usually take one more step forward every time we make mistakes, by learning from it. This is probably the main reason most people go through life depending more on the past, but less on current realities. For example: Yesuhei, father of the man of the millennium and a great leader, who got poisoned by trusting and showing mercy to his enemies taught us quite much.
