The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn is a very important story for every high schooler to read. Although it does a little more then slightly hint at the racism in that time period, it also teaches readers. It shows racism in such a horrible light, that nobody could revert to such a thing. Our past isn’t always the nicest thing to look upon, but it’s still there. The difference is what we do in the future, and this novel teaches us that everyone is equal and shall be treated as

Some editors through ignorance, and bad research can and do introduce errors in “fact” or “interpretation.” Often professor Wilson “refers” students to Wikipedia that well written and well sourced, but what’s the point of using an article if you have to filter through it just to check its legitimacy. Even though Wilson makes a valid point on how Wikipedia could improve its information it will take a while to convince people that Wikipedia has become a legit scholarly source. Both professors also agree that it’s a good place to get information but Waters feels that Wikipedia should be strictly limited to finding a topic or a source to start the research process but should not be used for further research. Water proposed a policy to the history department that it quickly adopted: “(1) Students are responsible for the accuracy of the information they provide, and they cannot point to Wikipedia or any similar source that may appear in the future to escape consequences of errors. (2) Wikipedia is not an acceptable citation, even though it may lead one to a citable
But in my opinion every course was important in helping me find what I am truly interested in and driving me away from the fields I dislike. If I knew what I know now I would have changed a few classes to more psychology courses to further my knowledge in the working of the brain to make this project easier. I am confident in my current knowledge and interests to write my final project on concussions the sports of hockey, lacrosse and football. Bibliography: -Cox, D. (Jan 31st, 2012). On the topic of liberal arts, Charles Murray author of “Are Too Many People Going College” states, “K-8 are the right years to teach the core knowledge, and the effort should get off to running start in elementary school.” Murray apparently assumes that children memorizing skills are better equipped than adults are, and younger children enjoy the learning process opposed to high school and college students, who will lose interest in taking these courses that involves liberal arts.
I am sorry to say I did not. According to Palmer (2007) “I posses the power to create conditions that can help students learn a great deal or keep them from learning at all.” (p7.) Since I am the one who possess that power to create conditions where all students can learn I have to ask what could I have done differently? Accordingly to the Dalton Sherman did I not believe in my students did I let them down by not doing everything I could to get them ready for college or the workforce? Was I connected to all my students or just the ones that were easier to deal with?
