Although, I have been eating healthier, they are still far from perfect. The other difference is that I do exercise daily. I do try to eat healthy everyday, and let me tell you it’s very easy to go the McDonalds route. I tried to starve myself for long periods without any food consumption. That was not a good thing to do because it affected my metabolism and energy.

I chose Weight Watchers because it’s doesnt sound or look strict at all just a “healthy style” of living. Besides, it’s the opposite you can still eat anything you want from the menu and still lose pounds of fat. ● What is the basic premise of this diet/eating plan? Although many people may not like natural food because it do not have not flavor, natural food does provide enough nutrients, so people can have more energy in their daily life performance. For instance, when I eat homemade food, I have sufficient energy to be able to study, play soccer, and go to work. Therefore, I enjoy more to eat homemade food than eating processing food. Pollen believes Cooking is one of the most important health consequences of buying food from local farmers” (Pollen539) I agree, because I feel so different when I do not eat homemade food. As a result, eating homemade food with natural ingredients, it would help me out to do better of my daily activities.
They increase their levels of sugar, sodium and fats. The central focus should be on their diet. Many people, including those who work for those major snack companies such as Nabisco and Hostess, state that eating junk food is fine, just as long as one exercises daily to burn off the calories. However, they don’t say that indulging in the snack may have consequences later in life such as diabetes, heart disease, stroke, sleep apnea, and asthma. Therefore, the focus should be more on the diet of the child rather than exercising.
Being healthy will only increase my happiness and being happy is important to both my mental and physical well being. I know that I will feel and look 100% better inside and out. In today’s society most entertainment involves technology which requires very little or no physical moment; therefore, Americans are not engaging in physical activities. According to the author” weight gain occurs when individuals, for whatever reason, overeat and/or under exercise” (Shepherd). A person should be getting at least 30 minutes or more of physical activities daily. Another cause of obesity due to laziness is the lack of cooking “home cooked” meals because it usually causes Americans to pick up quick snack (ex. Chips, candy, etc) and fast food.
My sodium intake was still over the correct amount. I think that this is because I am still eating out and many of the foods from fast food restaurants have a lot of salt in them. I also still did not do very well eating the meat and beans this week. I really do not like meat and I do not know what I am going to do about that problem. This week
Learning how to be mature but still fun and young hearted is a must to stay healthy in EMS. Discipline, the ability to have complete self control over your actions and emotions not clouding your judgment, executing the task at hand. Many people lack discipline because its usually lacking within. Self-discipline is a trait that when properly used can make your life so much more enjoyable. You have control and the ability to push yourself and stay motivated.
