How does the NJROTC program help others to success? The NJROTC program has provided a foundation that allowed many cadets and students to be successful in the future, and to be a leader in their community. As a cadet I can say that ROTC is an institution where they help you to be a better person, to participate in ceremonies, functions, and social events. Also, they promoted you to get different ranks, they give you responsibility to become a youth leader in your community and they teach you how to wear your uniform. There are many reasons which explains how this program has allowed a foundation that helps me to be a good citizen, and to be a youth leader in my community.
Together, humanity can create innovative ideas for serving others in society, it can “meet hate with love,” and flourish beyond one’s wildest dreams (140). Eboo Patel believes in providing service at a young age, and working to better the world by encouraging people of all races, religions, and situations to serve their communities in order to aid those who are in need. In order to make the most difference while serving, one must immerse himself into the project wholeheartedly, like Patel demonstrates in his story, Acts of Faith. While volunteering at his local YMCA, the then young Patel quickly acquires something new and appealing about the lives of people unfamiliar to him. He begins to cheer for someone other than simply himself.

Over all, I was able to accomplish everything that I needed to do. My community service benefits the community in many different ways. Called Into Action offer services that will create life-long learners and relationships. Assist youth in becoming responsible, productive, and successful adults. Outside of school, I am also committed to the quality of leadership by welcoming new challenges and inspiring others around me. For example, when I was a freshman in high school, I gathered a group of other dedicated singers and appealed to the Pacific Grove Unified School Board on behalf of the cutting of the chorus class at the Pacific Grove High School. My dedication to leadership continues as I am a member of the People to People Ambassador Program. People to People is an international organization dedicated to helping youths travel the world and make a difference in the world. I have traveled on two People to People trips including a visit to Boston, Massachusetts where I was able to stay in the Harvard University dorms and participate in a two week program dedicated to helping students become better leaders in their community.
Ohio passed Senate Bill 10 and Senate Bill 97 in 2009 in an effort to comply with federal legislation, (Office of the Ohio Public Defender). Senate Bills 10 ad 97 organized sex offender classifications into 3 tiers. Classification now is solely based on the offense of conviction; a person’s likelihood to reoffend will no longer be considered, (Office of the Ohio Public Defender). A tier one offender has to register for 15 years for adults and 10 years for juveniles and verify their address annually, (Office of Justice Programs). Tier two offenders have to register for 25 years for adults and 20 years of juveniles and verify their address every 180 days, (Office of Justice Programs).

My experiences will contribute to the Educational Opportunity Program because they show the positive attitude that I have maintained amidst constant struggles. It serves as a motivation to others because not only do I set goals for myself, but also encourage and motivate my peers to accomplish their own. I would be an asset to this program and contribute to its overall richness because just like myself there are others who face adversity and I would like to be a voice for those who don’t see potential in themselves to know that it is possible. Overall, my work ethic and
