Introduction: Everyone knows the importance of English language, and how it continued to grow till it reached into a stage where it's known to be a lingua franca; the language of communication for speakers of different first languages. People seek different ways to learn English. Some learned English as a children, others learned it as adults. Some learned it in academic environments, others learned it through an informal immersion with peoples in English spoken countries. This importance of English language has been reflected on the field of English language teaching (ELT). English language teaching profession grows as the aggressive expansion of English at the cost of other languages grows rapidly. Thus, This profession is a significant among other professions all over the world. Actually, When it comes to English language teaching (ELT), there is always a controversial issue related to it that echoes everywhere. This issue is directly associated with the individuals within the field as ESL teachers. Who's worth of teaching English as second language natives or nonnatives? is the most frequently asked question when it comes to ESL teachers. The public always argues for native speaking teachers whereas nonnative speaking teachers are always underestimated and dealt with them as plan B. This led into a dominance of native speaking teachers over the nonnative speaking teachers. However, here in Saudi Arabia mostly everyone speaks English as second language, and it's the principle language taught in schools and universities after the mother tongue Arabic. The majority of ESL teachers, if not all, are nonnative speaking teachers who without a doubt succeed in the profession.
