Some of the things that humans are affecting are Climate Change, Depletion of Ozone Layer, Pollution, Deforestation and Extinction of Species. Overcrowding, urbanisation and population growth Overcrowding can affect our planet more than some people think, Overcrowding means more people this means we use more natural resources this means the earth in the end isn’t going to have enough resources to support the growing population. Remember every person on the planet takes up space which could be used for farmland, and forests. People excrete wastes and litter that flow into water systems, and animal habitats, this is slowly polluting water and killing wildlife.
The primary effected area would be the damage of infrastructure, loss of power, fires and other potentially catastrophic hazards. Much of San Diego is located in low lying valleys and in a densely populated central business district, because of the strong concentration of people damage and loss of life from collapsed infrastructure and debris would be great. Conclusion Through my findings and research I have found that the two most common natural disasters that San Diego and its outlying areas are susceptible to are wildfires and earthquakes. Although the frequencies for earthquakes are relatively low the possible of catastrophic damage from one is a major possibility during the next 20 years.
If someone is driving long distance, it is required for them to have regular breaks otherwise it increases the chance of an accident that may cause injury or worse. Weather conditions can affect an individual’s driving, for example heavy snowfall can make driving conditionals extremely hazardous in many circumstances. Climate Change, is undeniable a global environmental concern that is triggering a rise in the amount of major natural disasters like floods and hurricanes; which causes destruction in societies and the regions which they effect. Introduction The problem with respect to overcrowding has tremendously affected the different states in the United States of America. Indeed, there are a number of issues that commonly arise as a result of prison overcrowding. These issues include the worsening of conditions in the prisons such as the decline of basic and sanitation services rendered to the inmates, the spread of diseases, increased stress levels amongst the members of the staff and the inmates as well and finally, the increased risk of violence and riots occurring within the different correctional institutions. The most important issue, however, pertains to the fact that prison overcrowding violates the right of the inmates against unreasonable punishment. It is in this respect that a number of solutions have been proposed to address the problem.
Not only does the person(s) under attack financially suffer, but the city and community loose too. Vandalism which can lead to larger group violence can cost the city substantially in police, fire department, and in some cases hospital/doctor fees (justice.org/hatecrime).
