“That’s one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind”. Neil Armstrong said while taking his first step upon the moon’s rocky surface. Further Concluding that Neil Armstrong’s accomplishments made him one of the most well- known astronauts in history. This extremely dedicated man, fascinated with flight from the very beginning, managed to keep involved with space exploration and did very great things with his life after his greatest accomplishment which changed the very idea of space forever.
Neil Armstrong was always a very passionate and dedicated man throughout his entire life. Neil attended Purdue University studying aeronautical engineering on a U.S. Navy Scholarship. But Neil was soon called to serve in Korea as a U.S. navy pilot. Also, Neil was dedicated because after returning from the moon, Neil Armstrong and two other astronauts participating in the Apollo 11 mission had to spend 3 weeks in quarantine to prevent spreading any dangerous germs they could have brought back. “I believe that every human being has a finite number of heartbeats. I don’t intend to waste any of mine running around doing exercises” stated Neil Armstrong. Finally, Neil was determined because he never gave up on his dreams to fly, Neil even started flying before he could even drive, taking lessons at only fourteen years old.
Even though constantly being moved around by his parent’s jobs, Neil Armstrong managed to develop a strong fascination with flight at an extremely young age. The start of his entire lives work may trace back to when Neil was only two years old. His parents would take Neil to watch the planes at the Cleveland Municipal airport. Neil also built his very first model airplane at the age of eight with many more to be made after that. Then Neil finally took to the skies at the age of six while taking his first ever airplane ride.And even earned his pilot’s license on his sixteenth birthday...
