My View On Studying Abroad

My View on Studying Abroad Taking a course of study in a foreign country or international study is becoming more and more popular. The experience is valued by a growing number of Chinese students. However, there are both positive and negative points to be taken into account and in my humble view, the former outweighs the latter. Some may have a saying that one studying abroad encounters much more difficulties. Yes, when you study abroad you have hard times. You will be faced with difficulties learning to study in a completely different environment, especially if your classes are in another language, and you will miss home, you will miss your family, and moreover you will also miss your own culture and even feel overwhelmed, both when you submerge yourself in another culture and when you return to your own, but I hold a point that the highlights of studying abroad trump the hard times. First, students can learn advanced knowledge and experience in foreign countries, especially the developed ones. After Open and Reform policy, China has strengthened the corporation with many other countries and Chinese scientific technological skills have improved dramatically. However, compared with the developed countries in the world, we still have a long way to go. In this sense, studying abroad provides the opportunity to continue studying. Students can learn advanced knowledge and management experience in foreign countries, and hence, enhance the level of science and technology in our country. Second, overseas students will learn to be independent, cultivating a quality of independence. When you study abroad, there is no going home to Mom and Dad when you are lonely or need to do your laundry. You're on your own. Scary as this may be, the experience of having to rely on yourself will serve you well. Meanwhile, during this process, personal communication skills will be gained.
