What it feels like to… Stay Up For 72 Hours By: Saruha Yoganathan I was coming back from Sri Lanka to Canada this summer, and suffered from jet lag. During the plane ride, I didn’t even get 5 minutes of sleep. Plane rides are always calm and relaxing to me, but they’re never comfortable enough to fall asleep in. I envied the people who were able to sleep through the whole ride. The plane’s seats were very uncomfortable and I was airsick and didn’t eat anything almost the whole trip.

Air Canada’s Infamous Infrastructure It is 6:45 in the morning and I cannot stop thinking about the long trek I have ahead of me. Nine and half hours of flying, with a total of thirteen hours of total travel, that leaves three and half hours of waiting around! I am definitely not looking forward to this. Okay enough whining, I better go meet up with my team. Travelling with my team is definitely less stressful then when I do it myself.
General Sociology REFLECTIONS This past Christmas evening ended at Sarasota Bradenton Airport, my point of departure, to catch a flight to Toronto. Running just a little behind in time, I hurried into the terminal to check in my luggage only to find all the Air Canada agents had left for the night. Frantic now, I found a TSA agent that said after going through security I would be able to have my luggage put into the baggage compartment of the plane by the agent at the gate.
