My Super Hero I always asked myself what is a hero? Is it some famous person, a super hero or what? I never did quite understand the meaning till now. Now I completely understand, a hero doesn’t necessarily mean wearing a costume and having super power. A hero to me is someone who would always be there for anyone, someone who would put others first before themselves. A hero is a special person who believes in their family values and integrity. They care about their well-being and try to protect others in their own heroic way. My hero is someone who you can trust with just about everything. He was someone who was terrified to do something he did not know but did it anyways. But the biggest thing of all is that he had self-trust. Well my hero is my Grandpa. I probably wouldn’t know what a hero is if he never would have showed me. If you didn’t know him, you really missed out on something special. My grandpa would do anything for anyone if they just asked. If something was bothering you he wouldn’t have to ask, he would already know. It was like he had a sixth sense or something. My grandpa would try his hardest to make you smile, even if it meant he had to act like a complete fool! He was the perfect grandfather in my eyes. His children looked up to him a lot, and so did I. He taught them how to keep the family strong, and to be there for one another. He was always there for his family through thick and thin no matter what. When my grandpa became sick I became worried. Even though he was sick he was always happy because he knew that he raised his kids well enough to take care of him if he couldn’t. He always had a smile on his face even if he was in pain. My grandpa loved being with his family, I think that’s when he was the most happy. On July30, 1989 my grandpa passed away. I miss him so much. Every time I saw him, he
