Also I may lack skills or knowledge to be aware of what else you should be doing or other ways in which I might work. Feedback may come from a variety of sources, including parent and colleagues as well as early year’s advisers. For this qualification, I may also be given feedback from my assessor Joy. Feedback works best if I trust the people it comes from and if they feel that they can give me an honest view. It is a skill in itself to be able to listen to feedback carefully without becoming defensive.
Know what you believe in and be gracious in conversation with others. Listening to other viewpoints does not mean you agree but you may be able to understand how the other person feels. I feel taking the time to listen quietly to others is a first step in our private lives to prevent arguments or heated debates. I was checking the Thesaurus for ideas on replacement words for this essay and ironically enough this is what I found: discussion= conversation, debate, argument, dialogue, chat, talk Argument= quarrel, fight, disagreement, dispute, row, spat, squabble, contention This is amazing, apparently we can choose different words but all comes full circle and we land back in the argument culture. The first step is to follow Tannin's advice and stop and look at all sides.
When I work with other people in groups, I feel a little at ease because I can get a different look at the situation at hand. When people speak about what they know it is usually what they were raised on. So, that is why people have different outlook and thoughts about curtain situations. Some people do not talk when they are in collaborations at that is because they may not feel like they are included or they may be shy. That can be a disadvantage for both me and the other class
If unable to communicate service users would be denied this right. In my role as a volunteer I must communicate effectively with all manner of individuals and I have to be aware of how my non verbal communication can be off putting to some individuals. For example, my height can intimidate, my accent can be misinterpreted as aggressive/authoritarian, my tattoos and clothing could be seen as a comfort to someone who identifies with that fashion. All of these issues can impact on communication with an individual who has specific communication needs. By ensuring that I am on same level by sitting down, and by speaking slowly, clearly and calmly, I can ensure that the individual is comfortable and happy to talk to me.
Unit 4222-395 Outcome 1 1.1 Two way communication is one askes a question then the other responds for example. The main features of communication are a conversation one person talks the other listens and communes back if necessary. 1.2 Its important for two way communication with someone with sensory loss because they can feel alone isolated depressed and sometimes a conversation can make a big difference it can help there self-esteem may be get something off their chest even just get advice. 1.3 I need to be prepared to repeat what I say orally, in writing, or using multiple formats to communicate with the service user. I need to provide extra time for decision-making.
My judgments are my own and it’s unique. I can’t predict when it happens and when to shut it down, just like my heart beats. I thought this way because whenever I am are faced with someone or something new, I don’t necessarily think over my thoughts to see if it’s reasonable or if I should not think these thoughts. I was questioning how Gladwell will be able to educate and teach someone to control their judgments and first impressions because everyone is different and their thoughts are of course not the same. However, I do understand how learning to control my snap judgments and first impressions is important because it gives people a second chance to prove who they are but everyone is entitled to their own judgment and not everyone has to agree with

Exercise 1.1 Specific ways I need to change to be a more helpful person is to always look for the other person first and not just for myself. I have a tendency to put myself first instead of others and I really need to work on this quality. I have great listening skills and make eye contact but I don’t move around when I talk so I feel that would make me a more helpful person also because they would not be bored. Exercise 1.2 If I saw a professional with these labels I would think great they were except for the shrink because might make you think down on yourself instead of there to help you with your problems. These people are all very special and help to provide help in so many ways to help to get a job, a home, medical assistance, to just help with everyday living.
Creative Thinking HUM/111 Creative Thinking is done when a person had heard all of the points of views of different people around him and being able to determine which statements to believe in and what statements are not to believe. Many times that people only focus on what they heard first without asking for the other parties about what really happened. Finding out what the true story of an incident has been never that easy because a person must undergo different searches for other sources of information to be able to come up with the right conclusion. One of the groups of people who need to search and gather different point of views is the media because they must not conclude about a serious issue because it may result a problem for them. When Mitt Romney became involved when he testified for a scandal, the media would be able to tell the public that he was not being true to his statements but they did not do it and they waited for the court’s final decision in the matter.
“Is talk Cheap” “Don’t believe everything you hear of read”, a common quote to help us pick truth out of information. Information is available to us in many forms, like television, internet, radio, newspapers, books and so on. But before accepting certain types of information we are constantly bombarded with, it comes down to the individuals’ beliefs and perception of processing that information. Humans like to be right, the feeling of being right, so anything that is in likeness to their beliefs distort factual thinking. Some humans don’t like to think thoroughly and the brain snaps to the more suggestive decision making process…information more suited to our liking.
