I have become more studious and have placed a larger importance on my grades and how they impact my future. With the help from my guidance counselor thru the extra time my teachers take to help me when I’m struggling. I have realized my education is everything, being able to know things, will open my future. Bishop Noll is preparing me for college, to have a better future, and have a great career, to survive with using the knowledge obtained and the faith to carry on during the struggles in life. Graduating from Bishop Noll in 2017 is a goal I have to work for.
There are countless things that people have to do every single day in life so going college will help give you a better idea of what the definition of life really is. And the last reason why college matters is because it helps you interact with other people better. Communication plays a very important role every single day and a lot of employers rely on their employees to have sufficient communication skills. Some people tend to interact with people very well and others don’t. For the people who don’t interact with people well, college will give you the opportunity to enhance your communication skills for the real world.
She lives by many great life quotes. These quotes have played a major role in making me who I am today and continue to have a notable influence in my life. One of the quotes is " Be the star of your own life." I began hearing this quote when I was very young. It's what taught me to be independent and to follow my dreams.
Dear: National Junior Honor Society Committee I currently represent the “Character” Trait of NJHS by being honest to others and very workable with my fellow peers. Many people rely on me as a very good person to come to in a great time of need. I deeply care for my family and other people. I also listen to others ideas to help improve their idea or to help make it a reality. I will use all of these characteristics to help this organization reach out to people in need.
The stories of things that she had been through as a leader were also very similar. I found it very interesting how similar these things were. I learned a lot from this interview, and I greatly enjoyed talking with Jessica. I learned that I should always be open to new things, and I need to stay optimistic for more successful personal leadership achievements. A lot of the things that she told me during this interview I feel will greatly benefit me in my future endeavors of leadership
Over time I was able to see the positive the effects these sessions had on the children and their families. Conducting these sessions has taught me the importance of incorporating the foster parents. I was able to help the parents implement techniques and strategies that resulted positive behavior changes in the children. I have never been more ready or eager to take the next step in my journey and begin my studies in mental health counseling. I believe this program will lead me to a fulfilling career, which will be rewarding in terms of the help I will provide to others.
LIFE EXPERIENCES As I have experienced many things in my life, I am now more prepared to go through my degree program because of my personal desire to be successful. I have the full support of my immediate family that matters most to me. Although I am just beginning on my journey to a degree with Ashford University, the staff has been very helpful and supportive in helping find the right program and get started on the right track. My previous school experience in the traditional setting, as well as, online has prepared me to continue my higher learning education
Recognizing that at the end, hard work pays off and you can appreciate that experience that was important to you. Entering into high school, the only thing that seemed important to me was Junior Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (JROTC). I instantly fell deeply in love with the program and all the foundations that it instilled within me. The reason for being interested into getting into the program was from my mom. Also, I enjoy
My family also taught me things like riding a bike, cooking, doing well in school, and just having a passion for something. I will not say that it is impossible to make it in life without having people in your corner but life is so much easier when you have a good support system around you. The affect this microsystem, family, has had on my life has been one of great magnitude and volume in that it was the foundation to who I am, and it continues to have an effect on my actions and thought today. Throughout our lives we have a plethora of people who come in our lives and make an impression on our growth and development. Three groups of people who have been the most important and influential in my life are my family, my friends, and my fraternity brothers.
The expectations given were to always try your hardest, try to be successful in everything that you do, and be happy. Since I am one of the first members of my family to attend college, my expectations are set very high. I have been given the expectations of not only completing college but as well as being a role model to a large amount of younger cousins. Of course this is a lot of pressure, but the pressure is what pushes me harder. I enjoy the fact that I am not only accomplishing this goal for myself but I am also doing it for everyone around
