Copland’s analytical review of how we listen to music is a very interesting one. I believe that his review is pretty accurate. I do agree with him regarding the three musical planes of music. If you take a look at this matter in its simplistic form, people listen to music for a number of reasons. I listen to music to enjoy the way it sounds.
The heartfelt words seem to consistently have meaning behind them and are songs that I can relate to in different situations of my life. I enjoy music that makes me feel and sometimes even makes me cry because it is almost as if He is singing to me or the song was written especially for
It was exciting and the beat stayed in your mind. The band added vocals too which made it even more interesting. I also like how the music was organized. A theme was introduced in the beginning and then repeated at the end. It completed the circle.
I feel like I can relate to the different types of music. No matter what I’m feeling, music can speak my words for me. I know that I’m not the only one feeling a certain way. This method can be used in any situation. Music seems to also cheer me up.
Grupo Duelo played many of their romantic and greatest hits of their career. Some of the songs that Grupo Duelo played were “Te Odio y Te Amo,” “Pobre Loco,” and “El Amor No Acaba.” Most of the songs made the audience cheer and sing along with Grupo Duelo as they were performing. The audience was so fascinated by the group that they constaly asked them to sing another song after they had finish with their performance. I really like Grupo Duelo’s songs since the rhythm and beats sounded awesome that they make a person like me to sing along and
What a song! As a big Stevie Wonder fan, I was excited to hear this piece as a closing. The ensemble plays the piece gracefully from beginning to the end. I really enjoyed myself at this sponsored event as the music, the ambiance; the liveliness was a great combination. Music being played live should always be appreciated because the future is going downhill as far as appreciating true and live music.
This one in particular was my favorite because of the catchy tune and the lyrical significance. I found the satirical overtone of the whole tune to really signify the problems in the past and often current society. As well, the song was one of those melodies that sticks in your head all day, but not the annoying kind. This kept the tune ‘catchy’ and helped the audience effectively pay attention to the message. The song talks about how the actors have hit it big time on Broadway with their performance of “Pretty Lady”.
I learned that these songs represented courtship, loss, and World War I. My favorite part of the event was having the opportunity to hear the songs and see the actual album covers. The singers were extremely talented and it was easier to understand the meaning of the songs by hearing the emotion in the singers'
I CAN REMEMBER THE MELODIES OF MANY SONGS. 6. INTERPERSONAL INTELLIGENCE- I GET ALONG WELL WITH OTHERS. I LIKE WORKING WITH OTHER GROUPS.IF SOMETHING BREAK AND WOR’T WORK, I TRY TO FIND SOMEONE WHO CAN HELP ME. 7.
Overall I thought the performance was great. I really enjoyed how much time they put into each part of the performance. You really could see how much time and effort they put into the songs and constructing it to make a great concert. I will come back again and see them next
