2012. This scholarly journal presents the argument of whether we should forget about the holocaust or not. If what happened in the past should still be remembered like it was yesterday. It brings around two ideas of both forgetting and remembering and what genocides today are affected by what we see of the holocaust. One article which was a story on a girl who blamed her father for the divorce of her parents, the other was about pregnant teenagers of Hazelwood East High School sharing the experiences they encountered in the school. In order to keep the girls privacy the editors changed their names. Before the article could be published they were removed by the Principal who felt they were inappropriate. The Principal felt that
I didn’t expect Amy to go against her religion and kill Frank Miller in an effort to save Will Kane. Throughout the entire movie, Amy stuck to her morals and did what was expected of her, not what she felt was right. That is exactly how her character and Will’s differ. Will Kane was always looking out what was best for the townspeople. Amy was selfish.
While in her mother’s eyes, she only supported her daughter and craved the absolute best for her child. Schwind-Pawlak presents this argument poorly due to her change of heart towards the end of the essay. She does not stick to her beginning argument which causes the opposition to lack stability. The two authors support their arguments by providing evidence. The supporting evidence of the two essay’s help reveal the hardships teenagers face while dealing with their parents.
For many years I was scared to go to college because I thought I wasn’t college material. Hearing Capitan Mark Kelly speak about being an underachiever, and a “not so great” student really helped me see that light at the end of the tunnel. When final build up the courage with in myself, I enrolled into San Jacinto College. The only thing that stood in the way was that standardize test. I had to take the entry exam after five years of not being in school.
Knowing that he could have been less obstinate and changed his assessment of power would have prevented Creon's son and wife from dying the way they did. Although Antigone was also persistent in not changing her own viewpoints, this worked in her favor because she was stubborn for a better reason than Creon. She stood up for her family because she knew it was the right thing to do. Creon did not show that he cared about anything but his own appearance for the fear that he will be observed as weak, until it was too late. By comparing and contrasting the characters of Creon and Antigone, one can assume that a lesson to be learnt from reading this play is that one should do what they believe is right based on their values and not concentrate on the thoughts of those who aren't important to him or
