My Motivation Essay

Motivation My motivation for learning is my family. Having my daughter and Husband in my life motivates me to better myself, to help my husband provide a better future for our family. Having my husband in the military also makes me realize that nothing is for certain. And having a degree will only make our lives better by being more financially stable and finding a reliable job will be a lot easier. Getting married at a young age has helped me not only mature in grow in different aspects of my life but, it has also helped me set higher goals and expectations to better mine and my family’s future. My family constantly keeps me motivated; and seeing the sacrifices that my husband makes being in the military, has opened my eyes to return to school and to help him provide for our family, so we could all have a better future. I believe the thrive I have for education is very similar to the character “Chris” in the book. “there’s a goal out there and I can glimpse it. I am committed to reach it.” My vision of education is very similar to his. I envision myself receiving my diploma; but my ultimate goal in life is being able to stand in front of a classroom full of pre-scholars. I have always enjoyed being able to teach new things to my nieces and nephews and now my daughter, even at a very young age. I loved playing as a teacher. So I know that once I achieve my ultimate goal I will be very content with that new part of my life. Envisioning myself with a better future helps me stay motivated and also helps me get thru the hard days. Such as my husband having to leave for moths at a for training, or having to be a “single mother” for a few months while my husband is at war.
