| English is the international language and spoken everywhere. Most of the jobs are interviewed by using English as well as the resume which submitted to the interviewer. If I could speak English fluently, I will get priority in seeking employment and get a good pay. I will able to be more efficient in my job. | How am I going to learn it?
When I came to know that I have been asked to take English remedial class, I was a bit mad at first, but then I thought that this class would make me better. I view remedial classes as practice, very much like professional athletes view training, because the best athletes practice to become better. As well, once students complete a degree with finishing the English remedial and begin seeking employment, they will find many companies emphasize good communication skills. So, It doesn’t matter if you know everything or nothing, what matters is that you benefit in every class (even if it’s a remedial). Soon, after my graduation I will be joining my dad’s business.
Ever since I took classes where I learned about various countries and their cultures, it has always been my dream to be bilingual. In so many places around the world, children begin to learn English at a very young age. This has always been very important because the United States is a very powerful independent country, unlike many of the smaller countries with failing economies. This brings me to one of Gonzales’s main points, that immigrants don’t want to come to the United States, but have to for a better life. Many people think immigrants are willingly “taking over” the United States, but I agree with Gonzalez.
Our system could also look into hiring more teachers with the added benefit of speaking multiple languages and creating more jobs in our area. As older teachers are joining our workforce in the pre-k systems it is helping our program grow in many different areas, including knowledge. We value our older workers because they bring knowledge of what has worked over the years, this is something several jobs do not look
We have cultural diversity. Immigrants have come and settled in different regions of the country to take advantage of our rights and freedoms. Some people look at America as the Land of Oppurtunity. They believe they can find a better job and a better life for their family. I am proud to live in the United States if my parents didn't want me to attend a private school, I could still attend a public school and get a good education.
When I told my mom that I had decided to go back to school she was very proud of me and told me that I can do it as long as I tried hard enough. I want to get a better education so I can get a good job and am able to give my family the things they need as well as want. When it comes to getting an education I want to be the one to set a good example for my family. If I was able to do it all over again I would have went to college right after I graduated from school. I am willing to give up my spare time to set a good example for my family by going to college.
Having a college degree makes living the American Dream a lot easier, and it helps you grow as an adult and teaches you leadership roles.
