“Accomplishment and success often are results of perseverance and hard work rather than skill or talent”. To our beloved and dynamic University President Dr. Eusebio T. Pacolor, to our vibrant three University Vice –Presidents, to our much-loved and full of zip Deans of every department; to our beloved and supportive teachers, faculty and staff of this university, to our distinguished guest. Supportive parents, self motivated graduates, ladies and gentlemen, a pleasant afternoon to each and everyone. Today, I see all of you happy and delighted to step in a new world of success, to step to a world where everything is a question or by mathematician’s language “an unbalanced mathematical equation”, to go somewhere where hurdles are countless but the optimistic attitudes are like pearls in the ocean. Life is a replica. Like in the theory of logic, “It’s either 0 or 1, either you succeed in your life or you go for a toss". Either you win or you are like 70% of public losing hopes, hard to accept vivid truth of life 'Failure'. Eleanor Roosevelt once said, "The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams." So as you step out to meet the world with your mind prepared and your skills tuned, I urge you to set your direction with a positive attitude and strong spirit, because life is a wonderful journey. A course that you set and determine by the choices you make each day. Let us celebrate this day of our success but always prepare for the challenges that each of us will meet as we venture through life. Although we may consciously make the most positive of decisions day-to-day, you and I KNOW that there will always be hard days. It is during the times of success that people will know our name, and it is during times of trouble that people will know our character. Today is something I cannot forget; today is something we cannot forget. Fellow
