My First Trip to Virginia

Have you ever been to Virginia? I have, and I’m going to try my best to tell you all seven days of this trip to Virginia. My family and I went to Virginia because that’s where my grandpa lives. It all started right after school was over for the summer. I was at Wal-mart buying supplies for the trip. The main things I got at Wal-mart was a new DVD player, the book that started The Heroes of Mount Olympus or something like that, four big blue containers, a book for my sister (I don’t know the name), and two coolers. After buying those items we had to wait one last month before we could go to Virginia. One month later we got up at six a clock to make the final preparations to go Virginia. Two hours later at eight a.m. we were off to Virginia in my dad’s truck and drove to Circle K to get some snacks and gas and then we were off to Virginia for real this time. After driving for four more boring hours with nothing happening other then me watching “Muppets in Space” we stopped at Denny’s to eat brunch and I got a sandwich of some kind there (I’ve been there so many times and eaten so many sandwiches there I don’t know which I got that time). Then after eating for half an hour we were off to Virginia again. Next we drove for from one p.m. to three p.m. and stopped at a gas station somewhere in Kentucky and got some gas and off again we went. Then we drove to the opposite of the street and stopped to eat at my favorite eatery Wendy’s. I (as always) got the Spicy Chicken Fillet combo with a Cherry Coke after eating for another half hour we drove the rest of the way to grandpa's house without anything interesting happening. Eight p.m., once there we realized that grandpa was at grandma's house waiting for us to eat dinner so we drove the five minute trip to my grandma’s house. When we got there we sat down on a table that had a big red with white flowers tablecloth on it.
