My Favorite Movie, Clueless

My favorite movie is Clueless, a comedy released in 1995. It is about a rich teenage girl, Cher Horowitz (played by Alicia Silverstone), and her family life, social life, and school life. The other two main characters are Dionne (played by Stacey Dash), Cher’s best friend and Tai (played by Brittany Murphy), a new girl at Cher’s high school that Cher and Dionne decide to do a makeover on. The “making-over” of Tai leads to Cher’s own spiritual makeover, in which she learns about charity, caring for others, and love. The movie takes place in Beverly Hills where Cher lives with her father, who is a very successful lawyer. In Cher’s words, “Daddy's a litigator. Other types of shots used in the movie are medium, close-up, and extreme close-ups. I love this movie because at first Cher seems to be such a spoiled rotten rich girl, but turns out that she is kind, caring, and giving with such a huge heart. This movie was my “get away” during a really tough time in my life. I could watch it for an hour and a half and just forget about all of the craziness going on in my life. It still makes me laugh and cheers me up when I need it. My favorite line in the movie is when Cher is explaining the origin of her and Dionne’s names’, “Dionne and I were both named after famous singers of the past, who now do
