My Father is My Hero A popular saying states that "It is easier for a father to have children than for children to have a real father". Many people had influenced and inspired my life from my school teachers, famous authors, creative inventors and popular philosophers. However, all these figures pale in comparison to my greatest influence, my father who has a huge impact on my life. He has given me love, support and more important his trust. My father is my role model who inspired me to become a confident, an honest and a successful person. My father helped me to overcome my shyness. When I was young, I used to be very shy. I had always refused to go to my school parties or participate in school activities. Once, I was chosen by the school administration to speak in my school ceremony. I was afraid to speak in public although I am a good speaker. My father encouraged me a lot to go and try for the first time. Therefore, I felt terrible. However, I accepted to go. When I was on the stage, I saw my father clapping and supporting me within his eyes. I felt courageous to speak. After the ceremony, everybody said it was an excellent speech. I was really happy.
