Hello my name is Christian Garcia and I’m here you to tell you about my experiences that have impacted my life towards the right direction. I was born and raised in Los Angeles, California in December of 93, growing up I didn’t have much. My parents struggled to pay rent but thanks to god he at least helped us have food on the table for me, my older sis, and younger sister which was born later on. I wasn’t the smartest kid, but I’d like to say I was a late bloomer which helped me later on in middle school to work hard, and earn success the old fashion way. I had several opportunities that could have changed my educational and personal life, but I chose not to.
The first time I had ever written was when I was around ten and things were kind of rough for me and my family. I just randomly whipped out a book and began writing about an adventure (which was strange considering I hated to read when I was young.) I think the Chronicles of Narnia had inspired me at that time. But when I really started pursuing writing was when I was in middle school and just bought my first laptop.
When I was a kid I used to live with my mother and my grandparents, I grew up without knowing my father, but I was happy because my grandparents always bought me everything I wanted, at that time I was the only child at home. Later my Mom got married, and I had two brothers. I learned how to share my toys with them, and I got a stepfather who taught me many good things because he is a good and hard working man. My Mom is lucky. Before I finished the high school, I started to work for a big tools company as a salesman helper (where I learned many new things).
Gates parents sent him to a good school in lakeside. Lakeside had the benefit of having money to pay for computer fees and had computer clubs on the weekend which they called C-Cubed. Then someone got him a job working for Pembroke programming, he then began programming for the next seven consecutive years. Bill Gate quotes “I had better exposure to software development at a young age than I think anyone did in that period of
Just like my uncle and my dad’s cousin. My love with the military started at a very young age where I was in love with playing with toy soldiers and then later video games made the love grow even more. But one day in 8th grade I was called into the counselor’s office and when I was about to leave I saw a brochure about the Miami Senior High JROTC Battalion. I took one and I went home that day and looked up information about the JROTC program. I loved every detail about it so that’s what I choose when I was picking my electives for my first year of high school.
HTML will make the World Wide Web run more smoothly by enabling web developers free access to new features and programming abilities. HTML5 can create dynamic online content comparable to the Adobe Flash software without the future expense to developers. During a press conference, Dean Hachamovitch, the General Manager for Internet Explorer described HTML5 as “the future of the web.” (Savov, 2010). “HTML5, the new web standard that has been adopted by Apple, Google and many others, lets
My name is sam , and I feel lucky to say that I am currently studying my passion of becoming a veterinary technician. I was 19 years old when I first started looking for classes in my area that met my criteria and after a frustrating search I thought there was nothing! Then I found Penn Foster, a school that allows me to stay home, study and also go to work and be with family and friends. I wasn’t sure that online school was the best choice for me but I wasn’t ready to move away from my family and friends just yet. The only veterinary technician school was five hours from home and I did not have the money to move away.
Look through computer file images and internet images containing subject about Flanner House. Created a computer file, for FH new photos. Forward file to Ms. Cooper for revision/approval. After approval, the file will be e mailed to the photographer. Worked on researching historical photo images to be added to the “Flanner House” revised book.
After a week we found an apartment we can live in, I remember I was happy because my dad’s friend’s house wasn’t comfortable for four people to live in, he had a small one bedroom apartment so it wasn’t that much space for all of us to stay there. When we moved out to our new home I was so happy to learn new language, meet new friends, and go to new school I though it’s going to be easy to meet people and learn English but I was far from it. In school they put me in in special class called “ESL” which stands for English as a Second Language. In class they had a lot of students from different countries; such as Africans, Russians, Puerto Rican, Chinese, and on. This class was only for students that are not from Unites States and had to learn English.
Ceramics Journal Summary When going back to all my journal entries I had written I noticed that this ceramic class has taught me a lot. From day one to now I have learned to do so many things in ceramics and learn helpful everyday life skills. When reading back to the first week of ceramics I could see how little I knew about ceramics and how clueless I really was. I did not know how to fix any of my mistakes I made while creating a piece. I did not even know what slip was or how to use it yet.
