I am very interested in starting a specific service project my junior year for CAS hours and this would be a great help to me with that. I think that I would be a valuable attendee to CASL because I am a freshman. Anything I learn can be used for all the rest of my four years of high school. I would also be a valuable attendee to the CASL conference because I would easily be able to make up the work that I miss on that Monday from school. I am also one of the older ones out of all my classmates so I would like to go to CASL so that I can learn to be a better leader to those who might look up to me.
I believe many students in the audience could relate to that and by creating that link she won the audience trust and heart. Arrangement/Organization In my own opinion the speech felt more like a freestyle than something that was prepared. The speech was organized in a very chronological order that is from her freshman to her senior year and ended with her present life situation. She talked about how she was so excited to be in college and asked how many of us in the

I had no trouble completing high school, taking most AP classes throughout my then short academic career. It seemed to me that I would simply coast through college as though it were nothing more that an extension of high school. I was sorely mistaken on that front, but what I was absolutely right about was how fun my new experience in college would be. I ended up attending Prairie View A&M University as a freshman in the fall of 2001. It didn't take long to notice that the freedom
Perseverance in my life Hello, school officials, teachers, classmates, ladies and gentleman at Argosy University. In the following months I have attendant Argosy University Online Program. I have had the ability to maintain a successful path towards my goal and it has given me the opportunity to apply for this scholarship. I always longed for my lunch period, that’s when I saw Caroline, Jodie, Max and Joel. I had been accepted in as Caroline’s freshman so I got to know that group quickly. But on some level I suppose I got bored. I reached out to the flame-haired little spitfire in my English class, Beth. A wild halo of curls topped a face fit for anime, wide excited eyes, thick black
As the days progressed, however, I felt more at ease at camp. I began to befriend many girls, which helped my comfort level, but what helped remedy my homesickness the most came from within me. I had to force myself to be realistic, and come to grips with the fact that I had to stay at Camp Elliot Barker because I had already made the commitment. I realized that there was absolutely nothing to be depressed about because the day would eventually come when I would be home again. This realization kept me going throughout the week at camp and ultimately led to the ability to allow myself to have one of the best times of my
In the fall of 2010 I left BRCC with a degree in Liberal Arts and certificate in general studies. I am in my third semester at Southern and I am enjoying every minute and I could not be more proud of this institution despite what’s been said or what’s going on. After I receive my bachelors’ degree in Psychology and get certified in Health & Physical Education & Adapted Physical Education, I plan on getting my masters in Supervision and Administration. I chose teacher education program at Southern because of the quality teachers that have came through the SUBR teacher education program. I currently work with children with disability in the Zachary Community School System and love every minute because you get an opportunity to reach out to children who never really had chance and to be able to give them a chance is very rewarding.
Dee is the smart one of the family. She happens to have a high school education and gets the opportunity to go off to college in Augusta. When she she comes home to visit she brings with her a new way of living. In this short story “Everyday Use”, As Dee makes her move to college she illustrates how the Black Power Movement impacts her identity as
Another reason is because my cousin can show me the ropes, as a recent graduate from the school. So if I was to need help with anything she would know a lot more than I do so I wouldn't be lost like most freshmen are their freshman year at a new school. Then I had some friends that came along with me to college. Those coming along to college with me help me feel comfortable because I wouldn't have to be alone. Then another reason is we can all work together and help each other whenever it’s needed.
