Have you ever imagined being as famous as Mozart? Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart was the son of Leopold and Anna Maria Pertl Mozart in Salzburg. Leopold Mozart was a composer and violinist, concertmaster at the archiepiscopal court. His mother, Anna Maria Pertl is the daughter of Nikolaus Pertl, an official from Sankt Gilgen. Mozart only had one sister, her name is Nannerl. Mozart is a famous artist in his country and worldwide, he also is a hard worker and caring person. Behind the fame, there are many secrets that remain unclear. Mozart is an important world-renowned pianist.
Mozart was a famous pianist in his country. When he was three years old, he started to play the piano and when he was five, he composed more than 600 music compositions than contemporaries at his age could. Because of his skills, his father promoted him to the whole Europe. Moreover, Mozart also successfully won so many music competitions, such as piano competition, and violin competition and he became success after that.
Mozart was a hard worker, he could finish his compositions at a tremendous pace as deadline approached. He usually made sketches and drafts before made the song. He also enjoyed playing billiards and dancing, and kept pets: a canary, a starling, a dog and also a horse for recreational riding. He had a fondness for scatological humor which is preserved in his surviving letter, notably those written to his cousin, his sister and his parents. Mozart had written a scatological music, a series of canons, which he made to be sung with his friends.
In 1791, when he was 36 years old, he started to become weak and ill, silence and melancholy. A commission for a Requiem preyed on his mind. "I well know I am writing this Requiem for myself," he said. The foreboding was realized.
