While many critics argue that it is unhealthy for people to go home and watch TV after a long day, they fail to realize that sitting on the couch is not the only way to watch television these days. For instance, walking or running on the treadmill at home or at the gym is one way to stay tuned with TV after work. Grabbing a cup of coffee and the remote after a long hard day of work is relaxing and soothing to the mind. It would be so called unhealthy to stress before, during, and even after work or school. Also, the movie adds scenes to the begging like Charles coming from under a blanket and telling the family about teratoma, the human teeth and hairball after Meg calls the twins "human hairballs” and Charles claiming he hears people talking to him in his head after dinner. I feel that the only reason Disney did this was to extend the movie time. Instead of adding useless scenes to the begging, they should have just stuck to the book, regardless if the movie isn’t long enough or not it will still be “good” because that’s the way the book depicts it. In the book when we meet Meg she is described as a homely, awkward, with braces and glasses in the movie she is given a more attractive appeal taking away her glasses and her braces.

Hesham Abdelhamed English Composition I Jeanne Purtell January 23, 2009 A Buzz Kill “Hey, I don’t really feel like crashing here, if I gave you gas money, will you take me to my house?” It was funny my friend asked me that because I was thinking the same thing also, but too bad I was the driver. Let’s just say that my decision to drive home that night would always remind me of what I did for my 2007 4th of July. I was at my friend’s first party at his new house and didn’t plan ahead whatsoever. The idea of where I would sleep or how I would go home didn’t come across my mind till the end of the night so my options became limited. It was either sleep on the couch or get in my car and drive home to my very comfortable bed, drunk.
