Mountains Beyond Mountains is an intriguing story of the life of Dr. Paul Farmer. He sacrifices his whole life to dedicate it to people who are in need of his talents. He makes going around the world curing people of tuberculosis and other difficult diseases seem so simple, and necessary. He has very particular morals about helping people who are in need. His morals are so diverse than normal people. He is so selfless in this book and wouldn’t hesitate to help any kind of person. His job is his life, and he enjoyed it so much that he doesn’t even care about his money. He just cares about the health of the people who live in this world. His childhood and relationships with his sibling and his parents transformed him into a wonderful person. This book really goes into the transformation of Dr. Paul Farmer, and how he promoted his positive solutions. Dr. Paul Farmer childhood transformed him into the great doctor he is today. His family moved numerous times, and didn’t really live a normal lifestyle. He lived many years of his life in a bus and on a boat. He did not really come from much, and makes him want to treat people that don’t really have anything. He understands how hard it is to live with little to no money. He was also sort of an outcast of his family. His siblings were all athletic and he was kind of the “nerd” of the family. He was outrageously smart and his family supported him one hundred percent. He just didn’t think that his dad was proud of him and I think that made him push himself so much more. His dad altered him to be a better man and doctor. Dr. Paul Farmer promoted his positive solutions all around the world. He helps people with infectious diseases like no one has ever done before. The one place that really stood out to me was Haiti. He helped the third world country to overcome their infectious diseases. He goes through so much to make sure
