Moral Decline in Society Most people in today’s society live by a set of morals but change them to justify their actions. Slowly our country has evolved into thinking we can do whatever we want to no matter what it would cost others. We are raised to be self-consumed, constantly comparing ourselves to others. Instead of doing what’s right we try to be different and it has finally caught up with us in our media, business’s, and homes. For instance, our media. Many years ago our country created a group of informative entities including the television, internet, and newspapers. When they first came out they were used to spread important information throughout our country. A little while after, they were used for educational purposes, which was great. Now look at them, what is on every channel and every page? Take your pick, but one of the main issues is language. Most television shows and movies contain vulgar language. Why is it necessary? It’s not. Language is just a tool the producers use to draw in viewers. Another thing is sexual content. There are very few movies today that do not include at least one intimate scene. All in all people have quit trying to educate us in an appropriate way. Next, in our homes. Today there are many young families in our country. Unfortunately most of them are due to unplanned pregnancies. So because of that most parents are not mature enough to fully understand what the child needs physically and mentally. Because of this some children’s brains are not fully developed. In which case means that it is very difficult for the child to learn and understand what is required of them. So if their parents would have waited to start a family the child might have had a better chance to learn. Lastly, in our business’s. Today we are one of the most disrespected countries in the world.
