Money Can’t Buy Happiness
Family, friends, laughter, campfires, walks, sunsets, deep, meaningful conversations, and hugs. These are all things money can’t buy. Think about it. Do you really need money to be truly happy? Wouldn’t you rather be loved and cared for. Wouldn’t you rather laugh and make many long lasting memories. Isn’t life just so much better when you get to spend time with people who love you and can never fail to put a smile on your face? Clearly, money cannot purchase true happiness.
Money can buy many luxuries in life. It can buy a cute new outfit or a new car. It can bring us short lived joy. For that short amount of time we will be gleeing in pleasure of what we just bought. Soon we will crave more. We can never truly be fully satisfied. Soon a new car will come out. An even better one! Then the car that we just recently bought will be useless and stupid to us. We will obsess and need that new car. So money cannot truly satisfy us. It will not satisfy our every need. Money cannot be your friend to talk to when you feel sad and lonely. It cannot give you advice. Money won’t even give you true joy and happiness. That “happiness” you feel after buying something is just glee. For one thing they love us unconditionally. Money cannot love us! Family supports you and is always there for you in times of need. We can always count on family to put a smile on your face or just brighten your day. Money cannot do that all the time. Family also pushes us and encourages us to be the best that we can be. Can money do that? No it cannot. Money cannot even speak to us! So that is why family is more essential than money.
