Students need structure. Structure in the classroom will cause self motivation in students. Also, students don't like being held accountable for their actions. Having to talk to students about why they didn't finish their assignments will motivate them to do their work. Most students try to avoid being lectured or get in trouble for something they can avoid.
Unit 26 Caring for Individual with Additional Needs P3. Explain barriers which may be experienced by individuals with additional needs. In this task I am going to explain the barriers that are experienced by individuals with additional needs in their every day life. Individuals with disabilities are often treated as less human than those who do not have a disability such as people at school or colleges insulting and bullying disabled people because they are unable to do things like participating in the sports if they are the wheel chair users, or they may be bullied because they behave and understand things differently from everyone else. They can also be discriminated against by people overwhelming them too much.
These men were caught up with all the plans that they were going to do, that they didn’t realize how dangerous it could’ve been. You can go about things a lot differently, but for those with a lot of knowledge feel as though they can do it their selves their own way and how they want it. For example you have a smart kid and a kid with extreme knowledge. The smart kid would ask questions on how to build the car or ask for someone’s opinion on it then that into consideration. Whereas the kid with extreme knowledge would just go on and build it then the outcome would probably become dangerous or not work at
Though being serious topic you wouldn’t think that satire would create a standing argument but Fridman proves us wrong by making his point and opinion pop right out of the passage. This helps support the writing by attracting more readers though his unrealistic writing for the subject. Fridman connects to his readers through pathos, as many can relate this passage to their unpopular but successful experience in high school or even middle school. This association between the readers and the writing generates more feedback and interest of his work. As he says, “it is a high time to face the persecutors who haunt the bright kid with thick glasses from kindergarten to the grave.” The bullying, the teasing, and the harassing for their abilities and their “disgusting taste” must be stopped, as stated in his writing.
If technology continues to develop at this rate, people will slowly begin to depend on it just as much as Mildred did. People nowadays forget about the conventional things in life and allow themselves to be consumed by a world of technology. People have now begun to rely on technology such as portable devices for entertainment. This increase in use of technology will cause more people to stop reading for fun and begin experimenting with these new gadgets. Even though these devices come with many ways to read, most people do not use this to their advantage.
Bad conformity can be found everywhere, especially in the media. TV shows and Advertisements depict people being perfect and beautiful looking when it’s mostly airbrushing that makes them look that way. The Youth then begin to think that’s what people should look like and they want to look like that. Knowing that they can’t look like the models in the Advertisement, the youth sometimes become depressed. The belief that Physical beauty is more important than intelligence is a very common habit throughout the world, especially in schools and as a result, people may often conform to accept values of appearances rather than focusing on the values of a persons gifts and talents.
Education is a very important resource to anyone who wants to succeed in life. Unfortunately, there are some students who do not take education seriously. They go to the school just to make friends, to not be at home to help with the chores or just because their parents are obligating them to complete this phase of their life otherwise, they rather to be doing something else. But, they don’t see that with an education their life can change for the better. However, as there are such students, there are also those students who want to overcome and be someone important, especially if they are in a foreign country.
There is a sense of fear when it comes to certain tasks completed by technology: A fear of being left behind or being considered a social outcast. There is also an instinctive trait in us humans to fear what we do not know. There are those of the previous generations who try their best to keep abreast with current technological advances and then there are those whose fear is so great that they completely shut down the whole concept of trying to learn about technology. Throughout America’s society there have always been technological advances to better the country and the world as a whole, but as time progressed, the ability to adopt and adjust to these changes decreased as people ages increased. It seemed as if the only people who were able to keep up with the rapid change were the youth.
One reason for this is that they are worried about their future, status quo and financial success. The majority of student are desperate enough to fit and blend into society which lead them to no longer attending classes they are interested in. The devoid of passion leads to end of striving for genius, leading to many uncurious and uneducated individuals. Since the student are trying to become the ideal persons, with successful careers, they are afraid to think out of the box and become genius. He writes about the lack of passion to point out that there will no longer be any genius in the near future.
There are people who say that this generation is the dumbest because of lack of ability to focus for long periods of time. Also people might say that technology is making this generation lazy. Others might believe that this generation isn’t the dumbest. They might think that technology is helping us adapt to the world around them due to the fact that the world is run by technology. Even though this generation might be losing some ability to focus for long periods of time, technology is helping us adapt to the ever-changing world.
