When I asked Stephanie what favorite leisure time activities are, she said that she enjoys traveling, dancing, reading, participating in walk a thons, and spending time with family and friends. Stephanie has no children and has never been married so she enjoys traveling to different places worldwide. She said that one of her favorite places she has visited is Costa Rica. She loves the culture and the climate. She states that now that she is older, she still tries her best to take care of her body by going to the gym 2-3 times a week but this activity takes more out of her than before.
The town, being so complacent and closed off have a daily routine, and they have no desire to change. Sammy takes the girl's boldness and quits his job, realizing how this could affect his life. Moreover, the town is never changing, nor the customers. Sammy sees the same people almost everytime he works, and can call them by name. Her house is neat and well organized and she looks happy. In reality she envies the tinker living as a free man on the road even if he has no education and sleeps in his wagon. Miss Brill reads the newspaper to an old man 4 times a week and teaches but all she tends to have interest in is to watch people’s life as a play.
Sam’s loves the colors pink and turcose because there just so bright and fun to look at. Summer, Sam’s favorite season all year, she loves summer because its nice and warm and every summer weekend she goes to her Lake house in Warsaw Indiana to visit and enjoy. Sam has one best friend named Madison Lynch a girl she tells everything too, Madison also goes to school with Sam so there together almost every single day. Sam is a very nice person until you start chomping on gum something she just cant stand she says its really annoying but other than that her friends are the people that make her happy everyday you well never see Sam without a smile on her face, except when it comes to her room, her biggest fear of all from the opening and closing of the door by it self to the mysterious light that comes from the window and into her room it really creeps her out at night. Sam looks up to a fashion designer named Rachel Zoe because she is the type of girl that does things for her self and not others, she doesn’t try to please others and she follows her dreams and accomplishes them, Sam looks up to her for the way she does
Exercising helps as her outlet for extra stress. Tammy spends her days off work with her children and mother. Her son, daughter and mother all get together each Sunday and have dinner and movie nights. Despite the difference in races, Miss Brill and Phoenix Jackson both are the victims of discrimination in their worlds. Miss Brill is a lonely English woman in a small French town. She has a habit of going to Jardins Publiques every Sunday. She loves the music, the conversations there.
The owner thinks she’s fun so he lets her hang around all the time. The crusty old men behind the counter show her their tattoos while telling her about their snotty kids. She laughs to be polite but rolls her eyes in my direction after every bad joke. Anytime she walks past me I want to reach out and touch her long silky hair. She smells like soap.
But more than anything, his ability to find joy in the simple things in life was just plain beautiful. I found this documentary mesmerizing, heart breaking and simply inspiring. I loved this film,I sat down with my husband and daughter today and watched this. My mother has bi-polor and yes it is as hard on the people she loves and are around her, but because she s my mother ,I will always be there for her. She tales out anger on me because she knows I will take it and not blame her but blame the disese.
Lucy was a socialite and she loved every minute of it. Lucy controlled every aspect of her life; her surgeries, her friends, her students.
