He used to be a basketball star when he was in highschool he thought me how to play basketball. Eddie ,and i have the same type of family that both supports us in life ,but don’t have dads to guide us on our way to be a man. Alec had switched his life around whether on purpose or by the flow of how he lived. He started out as your smart, quiet, elementary school try hard. He moved on to middle school and many kids who had known him in elementary school were probably unaware of the fact he still existed. Now as high school student he is not popular but not unpopular and is well liked. He was also still very smart the only issue was how hard he wanted to try; his true dedication found in cross country.
From my past experience, I think that there are two main factors that have the biggest impact in my acquisition of a second language which are motivation and self-confidence. I did not think that I receive a great deal of motivation from the people surrounding me to speak in English. This is because they often avoid me when I use English during a conversation with them in my high school years. There are even fewer teacher that encourages us to use the language itself maybe because they have a low proficiency in English. For instance, I would only get motivated and motivation from my classmates when we are having speaking test or other communication-related test.
My first practice finally arrived, and I made my practice plan out, but I wanted to think about what I was going to say to the young eleven year olds. I kept thinking for over an hour and I couldn’t think of the right thing, but finally I figured out the perfect speech. I remember exactly what I said I told the kids that 5th grade basketball is about getting better so you can play at the high school level. I told them it has nothing to do with winning, of course everyone likes to win, that’s not the most important part. Never focus on the winning aspect of the game; focus on making yourself the best player you can be, and the wins will come.
In the past only private schools wore uniforms but their beginning to be a big trend in schools today. Many believe that wearing uniforms allows children to come to school dressed for success and ready to learn. The whole point of going to school is for the children to learn and get their education. If the kids are in uniforms that not coming to school worrying about getting teased because of what they have on, this will allow them to focus more on their academics. The outcome will ultimately be an improvement in grades as well as behaviors.
Students can focus more on learning and doing extracurricular activities because they do not have to worry about homework as much as before. No stress on students because parents will not put pressure on them for “good” grades. People argue that it differentiates the great students from the average for colleges. But it is possible for colleges and universities to base their admissions mainly on tests such as the SATs and ACTs and also base it on their efforts on extracurricular activities. Grades may show the students’ effort in school.
