She meets Tea Cake her love of her life in an afternoon when the whole town left to watch a game including Hezekiah a seventeen year old boy that helps Janie around the store. Janie and Tea Cake had a very good conversation throughout their stay in the store. Tea Cake challenges Janie to a checker game and when he discovers that she could not play he teaches her how to play and helps her close up the store he also walks her home. Even though Janie felt unprotected she thought she knew him before and let him walk her home. Janie and Tea Cake enjoyed each other’s company they made laughs out of nothing and laughed.
The Quinceañera has bridesmaids & wears a glamorous dress with gorgeous jewelry to make herself stand out. This ceremony is a reaffirmation of the baptismal vows made by her parents earlier in her life. There is also a special candle ceremony to thank the people in her life who helped her develop and grow. At the Quinceañera’s party, the Quinceañera and her father do a father/daughter dance. When act 2 starts everyone is still happy but they are still wishing, The Baker and his Wife have their precious baby boy, but wish for more room; Jack and his mother are rich and well-fed, but Jack misses his kingdom in the sky; and Cinderella is living with her Prince Charming in the Palace, but is getting bored, which makes it seem like everybody is not every happy with
Since 1954, The Nutcracker has been the most widely performed ballet in the world. Almost every ballet company throughout the world performs the The Nutcracker during the holiday season. The show starts off with a scene of two people packing to leave. They are doing this very spastically which shows that they are excited to get where ever they are going. It appears that they were going to a celebration for the holiday.
Colbie Caillat On Aug. 21, 2012 I had went to Colbie Collibet and Gavin Degraw concert at the antelope valley fairgrounds. It was my first time seeing these two artists and they did not disappoint me at all. I love going to shows where the co-headliners or main interact with not only the audience but with each other's performance. Colbie’s voice was sweet and sensual that it makes me want my hubby to be at the show with me! Her songs make me want to fall in love and to be loved all at the same time.
Was Cinderella really blessed, or really cursed by a dove that her mother left behind? In a poem called “Cinderella” written by Anne Sexton, it was told that “Cinderella planted a twig on her mother's grave and it grew to a tree where a white dove sat.” The dove is a blessing to Cinderella, but a curse to her cruel family. The dove is a true bless to Cinderella because she got a dress, shoes, and a chance to dance with the prince. She worked hard, knowing that if she picked up all the lentils, her stepmother would let her go. Her little dove friend helped her by “calling his friends and picked up the lentils in a jiffy”.
There were food, games family and friends all the things a child could hope for at birthday party.
