Throughout my day for almost everyday, I am constantly on my cell phone when I am able to go on it. The reason for this is so I can check my emails whenever and wherever I am when I am not home. It is convenient to have a cell phone in handy when away from home, because it makes it easier to contact someone. Almost everyone has a cell phone, and almost everyone use it to socialize with friends and family. Also, I logged on the computer on Thursday 5:15 PM to work on my educational planning assignments as I needed to navigate the Bakersfield College website.
Every fay I come home from school and head into my room. I think about doing some work, but then I remember I wanted to beat a level in a video game so I don't do my homework. I am doing poorly in ELA because I procrastinate. Sometimes I won't pay any attention in class. I don't look at grade portal or pay enough attention to see the homework assignments.
Since Microsoft offers many programs that will be useful in organizing the business, and is usually included with new computer purchases, this is the software I recommend. This is also a familiar program to most users as well as user-friendly. Once all is installed, apps that can be found online can also be implemented at a later date, such as several Google applications that are pertinent to this business. I recommend Ruben and Lisa purchase smartphones that will provide remote connectivity to the business computers to allow each of them the freedom to access information from remote locations should the need arise. This will also enable them to perform many tasks from anywhere without the need to physically be in the building.
I mostly go to google for my Math homework. If I can’t solve a solution I’ll search how to solve the certain math equation. While I could have taken the time to brainstorm, what is the question asking me? Nicholas Carr says “What really makes us intelligent isn’t our ability to find lots of information quickly”. Meaning you don’t have to run to google for information, because that doesn’t make you intelligent anyone can run to google for information.
But now in today’s civilization just by a click of a button you have what you need. In matters of seconds you get what you are searching for and all you’ll do is skim through it and there you have your research. Like Nicholas Carr states in his article “Research that once required days in the stacks or periodical rooms of libraries can now be done in minutes.” It has made us so lazy that we won’t even attempt to read the information. “It is clear that users are not reading online in the traditional sense; indeed there are signs that new forms of “reading” are emerging as users “power browse” horizontally through titles, contents pages and abstracts going for quick wins. It almost seems that they go online to avoid reading in the traditional sense.” states Nicholas Carr in the article “Is Google Making Us Stupid”.
With all the advantages of moving to the internet the online community continues to grow. Of course you can still do all your banking at the bank or go to the store to buy stuff, but times are changing. 40% of the Bank of America customers use the Online only account that charges a fee if you want to use the physical bank. With the way things are going our entire society could go completely online. With people relying on the internet for their everyday lives its no wonder that to some people think that internet should be considered a human right.
Which made me wonder if he was "getting it" I realized I had begun to explain it a little to mathematically, I had taken it away from the fun Jessica Watson and gone in to the usual way of teaching maths . When I took it back to the factors that effected Jessica, and why she may not have always had the same amount of travel each day the interest was ignited. One of the children commented that they couldn't believe that all this fun maths was in the paper. That to me was priceless to see that they were using skills they already had and applying it in a way that was opening up their understanding to the
HOMEWORK WILL BE GIVEN TO STUDENTS ON A DAILY BASIS. Furthermore, students should be getting on Khan Academy every day for thirty minutes to practice math skills and become familiar with the computerized math applications that will be on the upcoming standardized test. Rewards: Students that go on Khan Academy and practice on a daily basis will be rewarded. Last year students were treated to Peter Piper Pizza and a movie. Late Work: Late Math homework will not be accepted.
Even though I might have a tough time in math, I will surely succeed. I can visit the professor during office hours with any questions and or concerns I have about certain areas. As well as, look at tutorial videos on MathXL or on YouTube. The more I get adapt to the subject, the more I will get comfortable to complete future problems. This transition from high school to college has become a blessing and a burden.
I usually check my emails in bed before I actually get off the bed, but I realized that I am in the abstinence week of the project and I can’t check my emails. But I feel like I am missing out on a lot of important messages that I get via emails. As I told myself that I will check my emails twice a day to be on the loop, so I decided to check my email. I was happy to check my email. There were around 10 new emails adding all emails from Gmail, outlook and work email.
