Apple Iphone 4 Report I am writing this report based on information collected in the investigation on the Apple Iphone 4. For the investigation I carried out primary and secondary research methods which I will use to investigate the marketing mix for the Apple Iphone 4. Primary Method of Market Research For my primary method of market research I am going to make up a questionnaire consisting of around 8 questions about the Apple Iphone 4. I will then ask 10 people the questionnaire, I will ask a mixture of students around the college and friends and family at home. The questionnaire will give me people’s opinions on the questions I ask about the Apple Iphone 4. Secondary Method of Market Research My secondary method of research will be done using the internet. I will use the internet in the IT centre and also at home to search for information about the Apple Iphone 4. The internet will give me access to lots of information about the Apple Iphone 4 from different sources quickly, easily and cheaply. The only problem I might have with the internet is that some information can be out of date and not necessarily from a reliable source. Product The Iphone 4 is the fourth generation Iphone and a leading touchscreen smart phone in the market, it has many quality features including its 5 mega pixel HD camera with video, Safari internet browser and Wi-Fi, Facetime video calling and different media functions such as books, music, movies and games. It is also available in 3 different sizes 8gb, 16gb and 32gb. Through my market research I found its most popular feature is the 5 mega pixel HD camera with video. The main competitors of the Apple Iphone 4 are Samsung Galaxy SII, Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc and Blackberry Curve, out of the 10 people I asked only 2 hadn’t heard of any of these competitors. Everyone that I asked had heard of the Apple Iphone 4
