Marketing exist in every one life. Everyone watch television, what does a child do when he or she see a new toy or video game. Mom can you buy me that? Magazines marketing tool, you see more advertisement than articles. Most magazines for women have scratch and sniff to sell colognes and perfumes. This is a grand marketing tool.
There are several definitions on the subject of marketing, according to the American Marketing Association   marketing is the activity, set of institutions, and processes for creating, communicating, delivering, and exchanging offerings that have value for customers, clients, partners, and society at large (Approved, October 2007).
Dictionary meaning of marketing is the total of activities involved in the transfer of goods from the producer or seller to the consumer or buyer, including advertising, shipping, storing, and selling (Dictionary, 2012).
Marketing from personal perspective means start from the beginning and building a relationship with the individuals to promote product and services by using the techniques in the marketing mix. The components of the marketing mix are product, place, promotion, and price.
The core of business success begins with a product or service and a marketing plan. The firm’s business depends on successful marketing. The business may offer good products and services, but without marketing potential customer and markets may not reached and sales may crash and business may close.
For the business to be successful the product or service needs to reach potential customers. Unless the firm’s business is communicated in the community marketing strategies must be created for knowledge of products and services. Without marketing product or service customer may not be aware of product or service.
