Married Life Versus Single What is better to be married or single? People seem to ask this hard question a lot. There is no answer. It is individual for each person. Nowadays, there are many happy people who are married and who are single. Married life and single life have many differences in companionship, time and money. Companionship is the difference between single and married people. Being married you will always have someone to talk to, to come home to, share the good and bad with, to warm you up on a cold night, and share your dreams with. Also, you have someone to take care of you when you are sick. Single people do not have that advantage even though they have friends. Their friends will not always be available because they have their lives. Even though single people have many friends, they often feel lonely. Time is the second difference between single and married people lives. Single people can spend their time the way they want to. They can get up early, sleep in or watch a movie late. They can go out with their friends anywhere and anytime they want. They can bring any friend to their house or stay at friend’s house overnight. If they get a job offer on the other side of the world, they can get up and move. In contrast, married people have to confirm their actions with their live partners. Married people spend more time with their spouses than with their groups of friends. Also, married life involves kids. Married people have to take care of their children and spend a lot of time with them. Money is the third difference between single and married people lives. Married people usually share their incomes. They pay bills and spend their money together. They do not go eat out a lot. Before they make a bigger purchase, married people usually talk to each other to make sure they can afford it. Also, they talk to each other before they get a credit
