The first reason is because a lot of people want a job that will pay very good money. By going to college, you will have the hands-on learning education you need to start your chosen career. This is a huge reason why a lot of careers require you to have at least a two or four year degree. Another reason why college matters is because it helps students boost their confidence level out in the real world. There are countless things that people have to do every single day in life so going college will help give you a better idea of what the definition of life really is.
Tuition reimbursement means increased morale, productivity, confidence, retention, profits, and less employee turnover. Many people want to take the step to further their education and are afraid because of the financial stressors however with tuition reimbursement from employers the stressors are eliminated. Tuition reimbursement is a necessary investment toward the sustainability of the company’s present and
Where I come from people who are in poverty are on welfare and they seem to work the system just so they do not have to work, but now after watching the video it has definitely opened up my eyes to what is really going on. Most people can’t help their situation especially where I am from because there are not many jobs available. Now I do understand that they have the choice to finish school or maybe no depending on their family situation. But if they are not able at the time they should at least go get their GED. Sometimes even having that may not get you a good enough job to provide for your family.
Vocational education has helped some students and provided people with more qualifications so they have a better chance of getting a job but they have not reduced social inequality. Both middle class students and working class have benefited from new vocationalism. Vocational education and training schemes provides the opportunity for student who find traditional subjects harder or not interested in them, so it is an opportunity because vocational subjects are seen as easier and different more practical. These vocational subjects were free so interested working class. The reason why new vocationalim was introduced was because there were wasn’t a balance of academic jobs and practical so it was introduced to promote practical work.
The TRIO program has done a lot for me, but the greatest thing it has done for me was encouraging me to pursue a career. TRIO has continuously supported my efforts of becoming a better person by showing me that an education for a low-income Hispanic, was not impossible. The TRIO program introduced me to informational workshops such as financial aid workshops and provided university campus tours. The TRIO program has continuously showed me that you do not have to be rich to get an education. One of the biggest concerns is that they encourage students to apply for financial aid.
When these children grow up and graduate their college with a degree in their hand, they will get into good jobs. When they go into good jobs, they will surely earn a lot of money. This productive youth population will pay higher taxes which will help United States to compete in the global economy. So, by approving the DREAM act bill, United States discovered thousands of talented and dedicated children. The DREAM act benefited the country not only politically but also economically.
It increases the support of the alumni, creating more active parents. This results in more donations if their children are enrolled in the same school they once were. With these donations, schools are able to maintain lower tuition costs benefitting the school and the students. Also, government interference would limit the tradition of the universities. It is unfair to single out legacy students as the ones who have the advantage of being accepted disregarding academics.
I realized that my education; given that I was raised in a peaceful society, without threat of war, or starvation, or disease, should have served me much better. Every generation educates the next so that the latter can exceed the limits of their ancestors. But my generation of Americans is the first to show blatant evidence that we have been raised NOT to evolve, but to be lowered by a consumerist
The best was to become who you want to be is get an education in a good field that you know you can do the rest of your life that pays decent, stick it out through thick and thin and it will pay off. Being smart with your money is a big part. Benjamin Franklin once said, “Remember that time is money.” I couldn’t agree with that statement more. You could spend your time doing something that doesn’t earn you money or spending you could be working and making money instead or just saving money. Some say “money can not buy happiness.” Well someone with a decent amount of money that they worked for sure is happy.
Building a stronger economy means being able to have the millions that are here continue their education and this would have positive impact on the economy. These students, who normally are unable to obtain financial aid, would be aiding state schools. By giving that back, the schools too will see the positive fiscal impact. Not only that, but the schools would have a larger percentage of students going into these professional jobs and closing the gap that we have in the labor
