Manfold Toy Essay January 29, 2014 The Manfold Toy Company Case is an excellent representation of how real-world businesses and corporations can become involved with issues in the workplace that are unethical, immoral, and do not portray the appropriate responsibilities of the employees. There were many people involved within the corporation that came across these common, and immoral conflicts that violated not only their fiduciary duties and responsibilities to others, but also the ethical conducts set forth by Hong Kong and Manfold Toy. Each person involved in the business logistics of Manfold Toy Company depicts different actions and weakness in his/her position as a businessperson and partner. Good business ethics practices include promising that the highest legal and moral standards are observed and practiced in your businesses relationship with all of the different people in your business community and the customers. Socially responsible business behavior and practices strengthens management accountability, while respecting the ethical values in the interests of all the stakeholders. Responsible business practices help to improve the quality and opportunities of life and they allow people to successfully invest in communities where business operates. A lot of the Manfold Toy has to do with each person’s background, preferences, career positions, educational institutions and the correlation between all the people involved in the large amount of illegal behavior that went on. A very good example of this is the relationship between Joseph Wan and Ken Tse. Joseph brought Ken to the annual Toy fair, promising to introduce him a number of Manfold Toy’s relations and allowing Ken to land a number of new accounts for his auditing company. After Joseph opened new doors for Ken, Joseph told Ken that he would need the year-end audit for Manfold Toy
