I spent days wondering about what to write! Suddenly one morning, this topic dawned on me. At first, I had thought of writing it down in my mother tongue Bengali, but then considering my target readers- the youth- I’m sticking to the most convenient language- English. Today, we are living in a fast-track gadget oriented world and we, the youth, always lack quality time(you must be thinking ‘cut the crap! We’re done with lectures!) Since our evolution, only change has been constant. But there is one thing that has remained unchanged despite the innumerable changes, and that is – A Mother’s Love. Whatever you are today, wherever you are, a major part of the credit goes to the soul that has protected you from the moment you were a miniscule cell. From the moment she conceived you, even months prior to your birth, all she has thought about concerns you, your well-being, your health, your life. Yes! That is how a mother is, an epitome of responsibilities and duties. No matter how difficult you might have made it for her, a mother never fails being the best. For me, my mom is the most beautiful person on earth. I’m sure it’s the same with everybody else! Being today’s youth I’m impatient, I’m rude at times, I’m the “instant coffee” type, but she? She is the same old mom; she never changed her love or her care. Every time I’ve been upset she’s been there, every time I’ve stumbled she’s supported me. At some point of time in our life, many of us(including me) have given more importance to the people who deserved less, have befriended a person who shouldn’t have mattered, have seen failures at academic, social and intellectual levels- but no matter what we did, where we were-our mom supported us silently throughout. Many of us now spend months at a hostel, in search of a better career, coming home only during vacations. We miss our homes, but we gradually gel up with the
