Love Is Blind Everyone has loved ones in their lives. During my childhood, my mother was the person that I loved the most. After I grew up, and moved out of the family to study and work, my girlfriend, and now wife became the most important person to me. We took care of each other and had good times together. Now, we have two children and a happy family. In my eyes, these loved ones are always more important than anyone else. Some time, my sons make mistakes, but I have many reasons to easily forgive their faults. I often think: “They are still too young and when they grow up, everything should be fine”. There is an aphorism: “Love is blind”, meaning that people tend to forget the mistakes made by their loved ones due to unconditional love. I strongly believe in this saying, because my personal experience proved this saying is true. Parents play a big part in their children’s lives by being the shining examples for them to follow. Because children love their parents, the behaviors of the parents often affect the way the children act when growing up. One time after a dinner, my wife and I were sitting in the living room and watching television. My wife complained that she smells someone was smoking in our house. I told her: “it cannot be, because there is no smoker around here”. In that moment, I thought my wife was confused. I was the only smoker of household, but I never smoked inside the house. I went to check my son’s room and I could not believe my own eyes; my son was smoking. I got very angry and started yelling at him: “You’re just a little kid, how dare you smoke?” My son was frightened and answered me while he was crying: “Because I saw you smoke then I try”. After that day, I knew the reason why my child behaved like that. In his mind, I am a good father, so any things that I did are always right. I smoked with my friends and my son thought that it was
