Love…! This must be the most amazing feeling that a human-being can have. And it’s the most random feeling too. Feeling of love may vary. It depends on the person you love. For instance, your love to your mother or your father is different to the love you have towards your close friends. And all of those are different to the love you have for your “true love” and this is so-called romantic love. When you are in love with someone, you cannot possibly eat and sleep too. You will not be able to concentrate on what you do, since your mind prefers to daydream about your love. People have so many different options to choose to be fallen in love with someone. Falling in love at “first sight” is rarely found among people as one of those ways mentioned. In my point of view, I see it as most likely an attraction that happens between two people rather than a love since this seems unsuccessful in practical life most of the time. But still there are people who have fallen in love at first sight and having a good marriage life. So in fact, it’s “an attraction at first sight!” Some people believe in it since they have experiences or have seen it happen. But as I realised majority of people hesitate to believe in such. In my personal opinion, I strongly believe in love at first sight for I have seen it happen and I have some kind of an ‘experience’ too!
The love that occurs between Romeo and Juliet In the story is in fact a love or an attraction at first sight. At the beginning, we find Romeo already fallen in love with a girl called Rosaline. But at Lord Capulet’s feast, he suddenly falls in love with Juliet, completely forgetting all about Rosaline. It was shown clearly when Friar Lawrence asks Romeo about Rosaline after Capulet feast. Romeo says: “With Rosaline? My ghostly father? No. I have forgot that name, and that name’s woe.” Here, Romeo’s love for Rosaline doesn’t last long.
