This is shown in the novel when Bridget says “ I looked at Menzies digging next to me, I was so proud of us how far we had come…” this is inclusive language because I shows that hse is more accepting. Summary of Chapters 7-9 As Chapter Nine starts, Eliezer and his father have managed to make it through selection and are placed on a carriage. During the trip, the SS officers order the prisoners to throw the dead bodies off the carriages and Eliezer struggles to protect his father from giving in to death. Each time the carriages stop, there are European men and women who throw bread into the wagons so that they can watch the prisoners fight each other to the death so they may get a bread crumb. Elie watches how hunger affects the prisoners as a young son murders his own father over a small piece of bread. As he is sleeping one night Elie feels hands wrap around his throat, trying to strangle him.

After being attacked by Jacks tribe they went to Castle Rock to find Jack and his tribe right before Piggy was killed. Piggy acted like the father figure yet again when he said “You’re all acting like a crowd of kids!”(180). The loss of innocence has progressed so far that Josh immediately starts beating Lightener to a bloody pulp, and if that isn’t bad enough, Josh proceeds to tie him up and take him to a cliff to push him off of it. Simone used the theme of love and tragedy to convince her audience that even though life is hard sometimes you just have to take the good with the bad and make the best of it. O’Connor’s use of imagery and Laurence’s use of diction create two distinct characters. In “A Good Man is Hard to Find” we are introduced to the misfit, an escaped murderer who later on kills the grandmother at the end of the story. In “Boys and Girls” Laurence gives us a character known as “the father”, we are not given a name but instead his behaviour throughout the story. He to commits wrongly actions in murdering not only injured horses but healthy ones too. “The girl is not surprised to later learn that her father has recaptured and killed the mare” (Korb).

Tsotsi is a film that centers on a thug, and a baby. Tsotsi is a young thug who lives in a shantytown of Johannesburg. At the beginning of movie, he’s stabbing people for money and starts fights with homeless men in wheelchairs. He will beat his own friends to a bloody pulp if they don’t follow his instructions. Tsotsi’s life changes after he shoots a woman in a wealthy Johannesburg suburb and steals her car as well as her baby, which is in the back seat.
Atticus tries to teach his children to vision yourself in the other person’s shoes before judging them. Atticus is looked up to by many in the society. After Jem, his son, destroyed Mrs. Dubose flower, Atticus made him read to her in return. He made Jem read to her because he wanted Jem to see her courage and what she has been going through most of her life. Atticus was a strong family man even though he was a single parent.
