Living in Dorms
At the first year of the college one of the challenges that students are involved with is choosing the place for living. For this selection they need to aware of positive and negative factors of living in the dorm or out of it. At first, they will have bad feelings about separating from their family and leaving their hometown so then, they will need to make new friends and develop the circle of their own social activities and living in the dorm can help them to achieve this specific need. More over usually in the beginning of college, students don’t have any income, so it is important for them to manage their expenses and adjust their lives based on their personal economic situations, and one of the benefits of living in the dorm is decreasing of the expenses that students have to pay for the place they live in. However student’s settlement in the campus area or near it is another positive point of living in the dorm because it helps students to avoid wasting their time. Finally, there are also some limits and restictive factors in this life style. For example, students don’t have their own privacy, they may need to share many things with other students in the dorm, and they may have many problems and restricts with their roommates . So everyone, in the way of achieving the goals, can consider the advantages and disadvantages of living in the dorms and choose living in or out of the dorm based on his(her) individual character and abilities.
