Another reason is because my cousin can show me the ropes, as a recent graduate from the school. A diverse campus adds to the college experience, prepares us for life after college, and makes us more sociable people. The way a college’s diverse campus adds to the college experience is simple, diversity on a campus allows us to get out of our comfort zone and affiliate with new people. Diversity also adds to the college experience in the ways it permits us to see and more fully understand other people’s hobbies, backgrounds, and religions we may have never encountered before. Therefore a diverse college campus lets us as students have the full college experience. An equally as essential benefit of a diverse campus is that it prepares us for our life outside of college after we graduate.
