I have successfully lead several teams. Don I am tech savvy and will adapt to whatever the team would like. Mary I am good at APA formatting and reviewing papers for good sentence structure. I will assist other team members if they are having difficulty on researching and/or writing their portion. I would like to develop how to write better transition sentences from one subject to another.
In order to prosper with friends, family and stranger relations’, sharing is the one method I can always count on to reveal who I am as a person. My experiences tell my story, and to know my story, you must know my experiences. Therefore, sharing contributes to the enlightenment people come across when interacting or communicating with me. When I share, people become comfortable around me. Soon, they share their stories and knowledge with me.
What is reading rhetorically? When you read rhetorically “you engage in this kind of reading, you look for the rhetorical strategies of the writer -- the patterns, structures, figures, & methods that a writer uses in order to make her/his point. This kind of reading can, in turn, help you to strategize your own approach to creating effective texts for particular audiences and purposes” (Malea Powell 1) Thorough out this semester we have reviewed several rhetorical readings. Although in the beginning, I never quite understood what the author was truly trying to say, but now I do. Understanding this form of reading can be very helpful in my future education.
Positive messages about their families, background, cultures and languages help children to develop pride in who they are. These messages also give them confidence to voice their views and opinions, to make choices, and to help shape their learning. The book ‘Possum Magic’ would be appropriate for Stage 1 (Year 1) students. Prejudice was a good topic to talk about and to be recognized, and Battle Royal fit the toll perfectly. I had the idea of prejudice, but I was able to elaborate on it more with the help of my classmates and professor. I always find that a peer knows how to understand what one is trying to say or help to make sense of it. He offered a lot of help and was willing to make notes on my paper to attempt at helping me make my paper the best it could possibly be.
