With nine studio albums and twenty-five mixtapes, all eyes are on Lil Wayne to see what is bound to come next. Wayne is my favorite choice as a “National Living Treasure” because when people listen and hear what Wayne is speaking about in his songs, they become inspired and motivated. For example, If Lil Wayne talked positively about President Obama in a song, I believe his polls would increase just because the rapper is that influential over his fans. If put to good use I think Wayne could become a very inspirational and motivational speaker, who catches the attention of millions of people. With his most recent album, The Carter IV, selling over three million copies in only five months; all he has to do is say something negative or positive about someone and all of his fans automatically have the same opinion.
MUS105 History Analysis Assignment 1 Bohemian Rhapsody Bohemian Rhapsody (written and arranged by Queen’s lead vocalist and pianist, Freddy Mercury) had a great impact on the world, and to this day very few popular songs are as musically perceptive and as brilliantly constructed. The song’s frequent referencing in popular culture has made its success endure several decades, but compositionally, it is just as attentive and rewarding as any art music from the 20th century. The lyrics within the introduction have many different interpretations which guides the context of the rest of the piece. The most popular interpretation is that the protagonist is confessing to his mother that he killed a man, and he clearly regrets it once he faces his own punishment or death. The song starts with thick A Capella vocal harmonies based around the cycle of fourths (as shown above) for the first four bars.

Viva La Vida made the #1 spot on the US and UK’s music charts which was a first for the band, not to mention, won a Grammy Award for song of the year. If I Could Fly however never made anything and Satriani was seeking damages for “any and all profits”.

The reasons of this social status within and outside the family have several premises. According to the research of Alfred Adler, the founder of individual psychology and the second child in his family, the birth order of a child is the predictor of his future characteristics and peculiarities (Adler).
