With groups it can affect organisations, communities and society as a whole. Even the people who inflict discrimination can be affected by negative impact -they could fail to experience the benefits of diversity, equality and inclusion. It could also affect their broadening of their horizons. Negative impact can be :- Loss of self esteem Poor self image Confusion, anger and depression Disempowerment Loss of motivation, achievement Missed opportunities Marginalisation 1.3 The importance of inclusive practice is it enables people to be valued, confident, feel safe and have all their needs met. These two remarkable individuals would service great role models for me as parents, which is why I choose them. If I were to choose a mother figure fore me I would definitely choose Clara Barton. To begin with, she has the characteristics that I would love to be passed on to me such as; her love towards her work and her
This made the Romans prone to injuries and “because they have no armor, think about running and not fighting” (Document B). Because of the loss of troops from the loss of armour, the Roman army’s numbers diminished. No soldiers were drafted since many groups were exempted from joining the army. This lessened the defences and security of Rome, and Rome became weaker. Another primary reason of Rome’s decline was a series of foreign invasions.
Alternatively their culture may require certain behaviours which we find strange. Also many individuals we support have a different set of values from our own, this doesn’t mean to say that you are right and they are wrong. We need to understand and value everyone regardless of differences. There is nothing wrong with having your own beliefs and values – everyone has them they are a vital part of making us the person we are. But we must be aware of them and hoe they may affect what you do at work.
I realize that not everyone will be your best friend, but if I spend time obsessing over it and begin to hate them, it will just bring down my own life. Although if I love them, or like them I will go on not worrying about all the hate and live happier. I am trying to incorporate some of the life lessons from each of the three books into my own life, so I can allow myself more personal fulfillments and cease the opportunity at an unbelievable life. Feeling fulfillment in life can allow someone to feel happy and realize what they have been working hard for will come in the
My life would be a lot more difficult because I would be in a state of constant confusion and it would be very scary to live life without remembering. A life with Alzheimer’s is definitely not easy, especially when you are showing early signs of it and you understand what is happening to you, it can be extremely hard to deal with. I would be devastated and my life would be increasingly harder to live. I would not be able to tell my grandkids stories from my past or help my own children when they need it, I would not be able to cook dinner for my husband or even hold a conversation with him without forgetting who he is or where I am. My life would be completely different from how it is now.
I believe that those values lead me to pursue my goals. I hope one day, in the near future I would be able to pay my parents back for helping me out when I needed them the most. Informal values are so important in life that they help you define social groups. For example; I found somebody with the same values as mine and married him because I believe we both have the same dreams in seeking to reach the same type of goals. Now, I apply those values to my life and even more so as a mother and wife.
But even then, we will find something else to unite different groups so we have something to fight against. Whether it is by race, religion, sexual preference, etc, people will find something wrong with what a person is rather than who they are. Some say that life is easier when you just live among your own kind. You don’t have to adapt. You don’t have to try to understand others.
“Golden Rule”: We should treat others as we want to and except to be treated. c. We should be responsible to our families. Our parents, siblings, husbands, wives and children. Even at the worst situation, we should believe that they will be with us and we will be with them. d. Giving to charity for a cause that you believe in will be very beneficial at the end of our lives morally because we will be able to look back see the difference we have made.
We must value our parent hardships in order for us to grow healthy and have an education. We must take now the opportunity saying I Love You to our parents before we regret in the end. I finally realized that FAMILY is more important than any other thing. It is the most precious thing that we will have in our life. I conclude that the greatest happiness are family happiness.
