Erickson named it “identity versus role confusion” in which identity shows sense of adult path while role confusion is the inability to form an adult identity, lacking any sense of a future adult path (Experiencing, 2013). I am certain that I am developing myself in a positive way by having a stable job right now as an RN while having better plans for the future. I am starting that plan by continuing my nursing education, trying to earn my Bachelor degree in Science of Nursing. The road to success is not going to be easy for me, but I do not expect it to be.
